辞書を紐解くと、作風とは「作品にあらわれる芸術家の傾向・特徴」とある(Oxford Languages)。
しかし、その「傾向」や「特徴」は、時に作者の無意識や時代的文脈によって構築された制度でもある。
もしAIにそれを「否定する」よう命じたなら、
作品は作風を脱構築し、創造のアルゴリズムそのものを露呈させるのではないか。

本展示は、名作という既存の形式を素材に、
AIによる生成過程を通じて「作風」の概念を再検証する試みである。
そこに立ち現れるのは、芸術家の意図を越えて自律する、
新しい創造の構造体である。

According to the dictionary, style is defined as “the tendency or distinctive manner that appears in an artist’s work” (Oxford Languages).
Yet such “tendencies” and “characteristics” are often shaped by unconscious habits and cultural frameworks that construct the very notion of authorship itself.
What happens, then, when an AI is instructed to negate those tendencies—to act against the artist’s stylistic logic?

This exhibition employs renowned public-domain masterpieces as its material, using AI to intervene in and reinterpret their stylistic codes.
Through this process, it seeks to deconstruct the conventional concept of “style” and expose the algorithmic structure underlying artistic creation.
What emerges is not merely a reproduction of the past, but a new, autonomous system of creation—an art that reflects on its own process of generation.
