「Limited Vision」
2017年に開催された日本ポーランド交換グループ展示「Double Line」に続き、日本ポーランド交換グループ展示の第二弾として「Limited Vision」を開催します。この展示に参加するポーランド・日本作家は、主にドローイングとその他のメディアを融合した作品制作、特に都市空間とその都市の歴史や現代性に関連した作品制作に興味を持ち、頻繁にそして様々な方法で、より基本的な手法であるドローイングを使用します。ドローイングは日本およびポーランド芸術の伝統において重要な役割を果たしてきました。今日、我々はもっとも直接的で個人的な性格を持った芸術的ツールとしてのドローイングの復興を見ることができます。
東京展はアートトレイスギャラリー・3331アーツ千代田・川崎能楽堂の3箇所で同時期に開催、そして同アーティストによってポーランドのヴロツワフで10月に2箇所で開催予定です。

マチェイ・ボンチック (Maciej Bączyk)

1977年ポーランド生まれ。ヴロツワフ在住。 ヴロツワフ大学文化研究学部卒業。
音楽と図像、理論と実践の両輪に携わり制作を行う。
過去20年間、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ、日本で多くのバンドやミュージシャン (At the moment、Kristen、Pin Park、_N_A__G___R____A_)と共に活動し音源が録音される。
2006年、最初の個展「Invisible Map of Wroclaw」をポーランド、ヴロツワフのAwangarda Galleryで開催。このプロジェクトは、ヴロツワフの盲目の市民によって作られたヴロツワフ初の都市ガイドの出版へと繋がった。
ヴロツワフのEntropia Galleryと緊密に関わり、作品の大半を発表する。
アガ・ヤジャンプ(Aga Jarząb)と共に小規模の独立した音楽制作会社「kinoMANUAL」を創立。
理論的な作品の中で、図像に隠された音と、音波と構造に隠された図像を探究する。

1977年生まれ。ポーランドのヴロツワフ在住。
伝統的なテクニック(を好んで駆使した)アニメーション映画、ドローイング、アート・オブジェクト、デザインなど多岐に渡り制作。グラフィック・デザイナーとして、また、アニメーターとして多くの機関に協力。
ブロツワフ美術大学(the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław)のメディア芸術学部で教授の助手として勤務。

1970年、ポーランドのミコウフ生まれ。画家、グラフィック・アーティスト、インスタレーション作家、映像作家、映像とライブ音楽を融合したマルチメディア・ショーの作家。
1997年にブロツワフ美術大学(the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław)を卒業。絵画の准学士号(Stanisław Kortyka教授のスタジオ)を取得。現在、建築とマルチメディアの絵画学科の教授。電子メディアとマルチメディア・スタジオ(the Electronic Media and Multimedia Studio)の責任者。 2012年以降、母校であるブロツワフ美術大学の絵画・彫刻学部の学部長。数多くの個展、グループ展を行う。また、キュレーター・主催者として数多くの展示を手がける。大学のための組織的な活動が認められ学長賞を2度受賞(2008年および2012年)。
2001年、第5回ゲッペルト・コンペティション(Geppert Competition)で最優秀若手ポーランド画家としてBWAヴロツワフ賞を受賞。1997年に「レグニツァの若き芸術的才能の批評スペシャル’97」において「フォーマット」アート賞を受賞。ヴロツワフ近郊のリゴタ・マワ在住、ヴロツワフ勤務。
ダニエラ・タゴフスカ (Daniela Tagowska)

1985年生まれ。2009年、ブロツワフ美術大学(the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław)の絵画・彫刻学部卒業。
様々なメディアを扱うが、特に文化の神話性に関連する側面に興味がある。
人間の思考と決定の典型的な決定要因に対して強い関心を抱く。
しばしば異常な方法でキリスト教の図像を使用する。
ユングの精神分析的研究の分野でも見識を深める。
作品が展示される環境で最も望ましいのはサイト・スペシフィックな状況であると考える。
長年にわたり「SURVIVAL ART REVIEW」と関わる。
共同でブロツワフ美術大学のマルチメディア・スタジオを指揮。
2014年初め、実験的およびサイト・スペシフィックな方向性のギャラリー「R46 Gallery」を設立。

オル太(OLTA)

工藤 春香

1977年生まれ。2002年東京芸術大学美術学部絵画科油画専攻卒業。 人間が制御できない、自然のエネルギーや重力などを史実や場所のもつ特性と重ねて表現する。身体性を感じるような大作が多い。近年は史実と資料を元にしたインスタレーション作品など、自身のイメージだけでなく社会構造と歴史を絵画とインスタレーションで再構築する作品なども制作している。また、自身で企画、キュレーションを行い美術のある場所として定着していない場所でグループ展を行うなどもしている。代表的なグループ展では、かつて銭湯だった場所(松の湯二階)で行った「おまえはどうなんだ」展、「柔らかな器」展。個展では1940年に日本で行われた国家事業について資料をもとに制作をした「紀元二六〇〇年―西暦2020年棄てたのは私、棄てられたのは私」がある。他、東京都のエマージングアーティストに選ばれトーキョーワンダーサイト本郷二階で行った「ラブレターフロム穴凹」など。他多数。2015年よりアートトレイスギャラリーに参加。
林 雅子

1979年生まれ、東京在住。2002年、早稲田大学人間科学部人間基礎科学科卒業。専攻は文化人類学。卒業後に私塾にてイラストレーションを学び、後に絵画へ転向。天体、地形、岩石、鉱物、植物等に関連する造形や公式、図形といった表象を作品上で再構成し、人的作為を超えた普遍的な法則性及びそれらの有機的な繋がりを浮かび上がらせることを試みる。2003年より作品を発表。ギャラリーのみでなく店舗等パブリックな会場での展示も積極的に行う。2015年よりアートトレイスギャラリー運営メンバー。主な個展に2017年「私と彼女のブリコラージュ」caikot(東京)、2016年「フラクタルのポリフォニー」アートトレイスギャラリー(東京)、グループ展に2017年「馬喰町ART+EAT10周年記念展」馬喰町ART+EAT(東京)、「2015 group shows vol.2」アートトレイスギャラリー(東京)、2008年「ワンダーシード 2008」トーキョーワンダーサイト渋谷(東京)等。
坂 光敏

1971年生まれ、東京在住。1995年南山大学外国語学部英米科卒業。2003年武蔵野美術大学造形学部油絵科卒業。2002年、現在美術のNPOアートトレイスのメンバーに加入。2004年、同メンバーにより、アーティストランのアートトレイスギャラリーを設立。2010年、アーティストブック「Man & Girl」を上梓。2011年からギャラリーの壁面と床面などを使用して1日数時間・約1ヶ月間毎日描き続け、それを全てインターネットでライブ配信する巨大なライブ・ドローイング作品の制作・発表を開始する。2016年、ポーランドで開催のInternational Drawing Festivalに招待され、BOSA Galleryで個展を開催する。2016年、那須の老朽化した旅館の一室を各アーティストが自由に改装して展示を行う「那須温泉アートアパートメント」に参加する。ポーランド・那須の展示でもライブ・ドローイングを実施し配信する。その他、アートトレイスギャラリーを中心に個展・グループ展を多数開催している。
ムカイヤマ達也
1978年長野県生まれ、東京在住。
2007年より独学。絵画の制度やメディウムを、社会に発生しうる関係性に見立てその関係性の境界面を探る作品を制作。絵画を制作する身体の現実性と、絵画の虚構性の間の横断行為を、絵画自体と絵画を用いたインスタレーション作品によって表している。昨今では、「分断」をテーマに共同体の制約と個人の自由の共存を、絵画の制度を用いて表した「画布を分つと二つになる」展(2015)、中空構造で成り立つ社会の中核をブラックボックスとして表した「黒箱を信じる」展(2015)などがある。その他、2017年「プロジェクト絵画と嘘の積分」展, awai art center / 2016年「絵画検討会2016」ターナーギャラリー, 東京 / トーキョーワンダーウォール2009,2010,2012/ 損保ジャパン美術賞 FACE 2013 / アートフェア東京2009 など。

Maciej Bączyk

Born in 1977, Poland, Maciek Bączyk lives and works in Wroclaw. A graduate of Cultural Studies at the University of Wrocław, Bączyk works with sound and image in practice and in theory; he has performed and recorded with bands such as AGD, Robotobibok, Małe Instrumenty, Kristen and Pin Park. His main instruments are: NAGRA tape recorder and Synthi AKS synthesizer. In 2006 his first exhibition "Invisible Map of Wroclaw" was held at the Awangarda Gallery, Wrocław, Poland. The project resulted in the publication of the first city guide of Wrocław made by the blind citizens of the city. In 2010 Bączyk returned to visual arts, mainly painting, sound art, experimental film and installations. In 2014, together with Aga Jarząb, he founded kinoMANUAL - small, independent audio-visual production house focused on experimenting with the moving image and sound.
He closely collaborates with the Entropia Gallery in Wrocław where he presents most of his works. In his theoretical work he looks for sound hidden in images and images hidden in sound waves and structures.

I cooperate with many cultural institutions as a graphic designer and animator. I work with students of Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław as an assistant proffesor at the Media Art Department.
I am co-founder of kinoMANUAL, small, independent audio-visual production house focused on experimenting with the moving image and sound.
Wojciech Pukocz

Born in 1970 in Mikołów, painter, graphic artist, author of installations, films and multimedia shows combining video images with music performed live. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław in 1997, diploma in painting (Prof. Stanisław Kortyka’s studio), currently professor at the Department of Painting in Architecture and Multimedia and head of the Electronic Media and Multimedia Studio. Since 2012 dean of the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of his alma mater. Author of over a dozen solo and tens of collective exhibitions, as well as curator and organizer of exhibitions. Twice granted the Rector’s Award during his academic career in recognition of organizational activities for the benefit of the Academy (in 2008 and 2012). In 2001 awarded the BWA Wrocław Prize in the 5th Geppert Competition for best young Polish painters, together with an honourable mention. In 1997 awarded the “Format” Art Prize and an honourable mention at Promocje ’97 review of young artistic talents in Legnica. Lives in Ligota Mała near Wrocław and works in Wrocław.
Daniela Tagowska

Dy Tagowska (born 1985) is an artist and curator graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław – Department of Painting and Sculpture in 2009. She explores various media and she is particularly interested in aspects connected to mythologisation of culture. She is passionate about archetypical determinants of human ideas and decisions. She often uses, in perverted way, Christian iconography. She also deepens her knowledge in the field of C.G Jung psychoanalytical studies. Favourite environments of her works are site-specific situations. She has been connected with SURVIVAL ART REVIEW for many years. She jointly leads The Multimedia Studio at Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. At the beginning of 2014 she established The R46 Gallery dedicated to experimental and site–specific activities. She co-curatored, together with Fumihiko Sumitomo, Polish-Japanese exhibition “Two Sticks” during International Drawing Triennale in 2015. She is interested in creating a platform between Polish and Asian, especially Japanese, artists and curators.
Przemek Pintal

I have been interested in the letters and text usage for the construction of significative structure of the work of art. It is fascinating world of trials, coming in contact, exerting of influence, sending of information, warnings and encouragement, pyramid of ambiguity, side by side co-existence of independent languages.
I am fascinated by work with documents and para-documents. I dedicate a lot of attention to the utilization of the advertising announcement. I am interested in the language and strategy of advertisement. Balancing among fact and myth, truth and lie, I build with my own announcement, also I teach me and my spectator to keep attention to the inevitable fact of being manipulated.

Artist, curator, employee of the Academy of Fine Arts Eugeniusz Gepperta in Wrocław. A member of the Art Transparent Contemporary Art Foundation.
In the years 1999 - 2005 she studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture in Krakow and the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
Winner of several art competitions; among others: the President of Wrocław Award in the 8th National Painting Competition Eugeniusz Gepperta, 2007; Grand Prix Samsung Art Master, 2004.
Since 2005, he has been working at the alma mater at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture at the Department of Painting, in the diploma studio of Professor Piotr Błażejewski. In 2012, she defended her doctoral thesis entitled "The Image of Destruction" devoted to the issue of destruction as an aesthetic category in the visual arts.
Author of texts about art and monographs. Since 2014 he has been an expert in the Artistic Council of the Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts.
From 2008, the curator general of the SURVIVAL Art Review (together with Michał Bieńiek) one of the most important Polish cyclical events presenting contemporary art in the public space and disseminating knowledge about it. The review is an art exhibition of nationwide and international scale, presenting both recognized and aspiring artists performing site-specific works in public space.
Kamil Moskowczenko
b. 1983
Artist, curator, employee of the Academy of Fine Arts Eugeniusz Gepperta in Wrocław. In his work he uses painting realizations, site-specific installations and performance. He made seven individual exhibitions and once participated in dozens of group exhibitions at home and abroad.
Co-founder and curator of the Contemporary Art Gallery EMDES in Wrocław.
Since 2011 Assistant of Profesor Anna Kowalska Szewczyk in the painting studio in Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw.
From 2011, he participated in the artistic and research project "Silesium" - devoted to the reinterpretation of the historical and cultural condition of Lower Silesia with the help of contemporary artistic means.
He collaborates with the Art Transparent Foundation, executing curatorial projects for the Geppert Flat Gallery and the Survival Art Review (2017).

Haruka Kudo

Born in 1977. Majored in the oil paintings and gradated from Fine Art in Tokyo University of the Arts. Kudo is an artist who expresses Earth’s energy and gravity while synthesizing them to the facts in history and its localities. She has produced many works in her perception of one’s physicality. In recent years, creating based on the historical facts and evidence – besides her own inspiration, her paintings and installations aimed to express the small-scale reconstruction of our social structure and history inside. Kudo hosted and curated the group art galleries in such locations where art usually didn’t exist. Some of her major group galleries took place in a former public bath, the second floor of Matsuno-yu, titled “Omae-wa dounanda”(What about yourself?), and “Yawaraka-na Utsuwa”(Soft vessel). As for one of her individual galleries was “Kigen 2600 nen - seireki 2020 Sutetano-wa watashi, suteraretano-wa watashi”(2600th year of Japan foundation, 2020th year of Christian era, I who disposed and I who was disposed of).Kudo was selected as an emerging artist of Tokyo, conducted “Love letter from Ana”(A lover letter from a hole) at the second floor of Tokyo Wonder Site. Since 2015, she joined Art Trace Gallery.

Born in 1979, lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. Bachelor of Human Science, Waseda University, Tokyo in 2002. Member of Art Trace Gallery since 2015. In 2003 Hayashi started her career as an artist. Since then she has exhibited at galleries and public spaces. She is interested in universal laws of nature that stay far above human behavior. Using representations of heavenly bodies, topography, stones, minerals and plants in works, she aims to show the laws and light up their organic relationship. That relation sometimes expands to the relationship between the history and individuals. Her recent exhibitions include, ’Wonder seeds’ at Tokyo wonder site Shibuya in 2008, ‘Polyphony of fractals ‘ at Art trace gallery in 2016, ‘Double Line’ at Neon Gallery in Wroclaw, Poland in 2017.

Born in 1971. He graduated from Nanzan University - Department of British and American Studies in the Faculty of Foreign Studies in 1995. He joined in NPO about modern art "ART TRACE" in 2002. He graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Painting in 2003. With the members of ART TRACE, he established the gallery run only by artists named "ART TRACE Gallery" in Ryogoku, Tokyo in 2004. He published artist book "Man & Girl" in 2010. He has held solo exhibition at ART TRACE Gallery and others at times. He held a solo exhibition at BOSA Gallery in "International Drawing Triennale" in Wroclaw, Poland in 2016. He joined "Nasu Art Apartment” project and held a live drawing in a room of the Japanese-style hotel in Nasu in 2016.
He began live drawing since 2011. Those are huge drawing works painted on the wall and floor of a gallery or room, and on many different objects. They are broadcast by internet on live and drawn about 5-8 hours per day, continues about one month without holidays.
Tatsuya Mukaiyama
Born 1978 Nagano Prefecture(Japan) based in Tokyo. 2007-present self-education. Tatsuya Mukaiyama creates artworks that aim to examine the boundaries of the relationships among the predictable incidence in society by having the unwritten law of art and mediums presented as models.The trial to go across the actuality born from body and the fictitiousness attributed to art was portrayed in the art installation and with his own artworks themselves.
In recent works, “When the canvas is divided, it becomes two pieces” (2015) ― the coexistence of restriction posed to community and individual’s freedom were expressed within its unwritten rule of art using ‘Division’ as a theme.Express the core of our society that consists of the hollow structure as the black box - ‘Belief in the black box’ (2015). The other principal exhibitions include, ‘Project painting and integral calculus of fabrications’ at awai art center (2017), ‘Consideration meeting of the paintings 2016’ at TURNER GALLERY (2016), Tokyo wonder wall 2009,2010,2012, ‘Sompo Japan Art award exhibition 2013’ and ‘Art fair Tokyo’(2009).
