この度、アートトレイスギャラリーにて、林雅子個展「ボーダーランド」を開催いたします。ボーダーランドとは、曖昧な境界の領域を表します。土と川、内と外、人であること、存在しなくなること。近年制作しているランドスケープや石塊をモチーフとした作品に仮託して、不確かな境の有り様をたどります。

Masako Hayashi has been creating paintings and drawings which have motifs of landforms, celestial bodies and plants. In this exhibition, she focuses on the vague borders about lands, species and the definition of existence, and tries to explore such ambiguous states through her works.

林雅子 / Masako Hayashi

1979生まれ、東京都在住。2002年、早稲田大学人間科学部人間基礎科学科卒業。文化人類学を軸に、社会学、認知心理学、生物学を横断的に学ぶ。2003年より作品を発表。主な展示に、「Limited Vision -Tokyo edit」Art Trace Gallery・3331 アーツ千代田(東京)、「Limited Vision -Wroclaw edit」ブロツワフ国立音楽フォーラム(ポーランド・ブロツワフ)2018年、「Double Line」Neon Gallery(ブロツワフ)、「檸檬は爆発の時を待っている。」馬喰町ART+EAT(東京)、個展「私と彼女のブリコラージュ」caikot(東京)2017年、個展「フラクタルのポリフォニー」Art Trace Gallery(東京)2016年、「形象への眼差し、光景の眺め」Art Trace Gallery(東京)2015年、「ワンダーシード2008」トーキョーワンダーサイト渋谷(東京)2008年、週末芸術vol.4　個展「雲路を渡る」HAT(栃木)2007年、等。

Born in 1979, currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. Bachelor of Human Science, Waseda University, Tokyo in 2002. Her recent exhibitions include “Limited Vision -Tokyo edit” Art Trace Gallery, 3331 Arts Chiyoda (Tokyo), “Limited Vision -Wroclaw edit” National Forum of Music Wroclaw (Wroclaw, Poland) in 2018, “Double Line”Neon Gallery (Wroclaw), ”The lemon has been waiting for the time to explode” Bakurocho Art+Eat (Tokyo), personal exhibition ”Bricolage of me, of her” caikot (Tokyo) in 2017, personal exhibition”Polyphony of Fractals” Art Trace Gallery in 2016、”Art Trace Gallery 2015 group shows vol.2” Art Trace Gallery in 2015,  “Wonder Seeds 2008” Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya (Tokyo) in 2008, personal exhibition “Pass over the route in the clouds” HAT (Tochigi) in 2007.
